A Breezy Walk
Viola and Steven Whitten decided to make the most out of a fine spring day in 2016 by going for a leisurely stroll down Middleton Sands. This was the couple’s preferred beach, near to their Overton in Lancashire, England village home. It was a pleasant time for the two, that was until they came across something that would turn their perfectly ordinary lives into a nightmare. Sometimes, people come across life-changing events in the least imaginable way possible.

Middleton Sands is a wonderfully beautiful and incredibly popular beach for tourists and locals alike. The Whittens decided that they would be better off taking the less-traveled paths as a result. They were the kind of people that found it difficult to relax when there were too many people around them. They knew the beach like the backs of their hands and had the perfect quiet spot in mind. Their much-needed peace would soon give way to catastrophe, however.
