More Digging
James picked up his shovel and began to clear the space. Subsequently, he seized his blade and tore off additional portions of the peculiar plastic layer. While he attempted to pry open the strange door, his spouse remained nearby. He opened his thoughts with all his vigor, and his mind raced with theories. Was that a bunker? Some sort of prehistoric ruin? His palms began to perspire in excitement.

A Fallen Stairs
James was shocked to see what happened as the door finally gave way. It led to a set of decaying wooden stairs. James felt shivers run down his spine as his heart pounded. Reaching for his torch, he motioned for his spouse to support his ankles. He slumped to the ground, exposing his torso.
