Steven and Viola had much to discuss as they stood near the strange rock. Would they leave this stinky but incredible find where they had found it, or would they pick it up and take it home? Their home would certainly be bearably livable, what with the intense smell, and who knows what else could be festering inside this rough lump? They would certainly be doing a service to the beach by taking it away.

The pair felt their greed take over as they fantasized about gaining splendid riches from potentially selling this rock to a museum or scientific organization. They were willing to put up with the overpowering stench. After all, someone would want this thing quickly, they rationalized. They thought of all the wonderful things that they could do with the money from the sale. It was their time to shine, and the worst smell in the world couldn’t stop them.
